Welcome, and thank you for visiting my site. I provide CBT Hypnotherapy and Counselling, online via Zoom. I also offer Walk and Talk Therapy in my local area of Ilkley/Skipton.
I am passionate about helping people find clarity, confidence and a sense of balance in their lives. I can help you navigate through life’s challenges providing you with positivity and self worth. My online therapy sessions are designed to support you, to help you empower and discover your unique self. I offer a caring and non-judgmental space to talk openly.
As a Person Centered Therapist and a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist, your wellbeing and goals take priority. I will help you find the right mindset to thrive and together we will discover the power of positive thoughts, helping you reframe challenges and uncover new possibilities.
Through open supportive conversations and being able to focus on the proven techniques of hypnotherapy you will get to explore your potential and create a meaningful, lasting change, at your own pace.
Through my life journey so far, I have discovered the power of resilience and the importance of maintaining a positive outlook, even when the path ahead feels uncertain.
Outside my therapy room as a trained CB Hypnotherapist and Person Centered Counsellor, I volunteer as a Samaritan where I provide a listening ear to those in need, a role that has deepened my commitment to helping others feel truly heard.
I love travel, family walks and to be outdoors, embracing the elements and being mindful, enjoying nature. I understand the modern stresses and strains that life often throws at us.
I am here to help and support you every step of the way, either through our online sessions or to meet for a ‘walk & talk’ therapy if our locations are convenient.

Anxiety is a complex emotion that can range from mild uneasiness to intense fear or panic. It often arises from stress, uncertainty, or perceived threats—whether real or imagined.
Depression is more than just feeling "sad" or "down" for a few days. It's a persistent and overwhelming sense of sadness, emptiness, or hopelessness that can last for weeks, months, or even years. Depression affects many aspects of a person's life, including their ability to think clearly, enjoy daily activities, and maintain relationships. It can also affect physical health, energy levels, and the ability to function.
Self-esteem is your perception of your value or worth. It involves how a person sees their strengths, weaknesses, and overall identity. An unhealthy self-esteem often leads to self-criticism, self-doubt, or a lack of belief. A healthy self-esteem means valuing yourself in a balanced and realistic way, acknowledging both stresses and areas for growth.
Whether you're working to rebuild a relationship or navigating the challenges of separation, you may experience intense emotions that cause significant distress.
These situations can bring up a wide range of feelings, including anger, sadness, shame, guilt, confusion, and grief. In the counselling room, I provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore these emotions with compassion, understanding, and without judgment. My goal is to help you process your feelings, rebuild trust (if possible), and find a path toward healing and moving forward.
Trauma is an emotional, psychological, and/or physical response to an event or series of events that overwhelms a person’s ability to cope. Those who experience trauma often feel invalidated or misunderstood.
In counselling, I provide a safe and supportive space to validate your feelings and experiences. The healing process begins by acknowledging that your emotional reactions are normal and understandable. Recognising this is the first step toward healing and regaining a sense of control.
Loneliness isn’t just about being alone—you may feel disconnected from yourself or others, even in a crowd. It often stems from a lack of meaningful social connections, support, or intimacy.
Loneliness can have a profound impact on mental and physical health, contributing to issues like depression and anxiety. In counselling, we can work together to explore these feelings, find ways to alleviate isolation, and build deeper, more fulfilling connections—with others and within yourself.
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that can develop after experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event or series of events. These may involve physical harm or the threat of harm to oneself or others, including experiences such as combat, natural disasters, accidents, abuse, or violence.
PTSD can have lasting effects, impacting emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being long after the trauma has passed. While it can be debilitating, effective therapeutic interventions can help individuals process their experiences, manage symptoms, and work toward healing.
Menopause is a significant life transition that can bring a range of emotional, psychological, and physical challenges. Symptoms may include hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, sleep disturbances, vaginal dryness, and changes in libido.
Therapy offers valuable support during this time, helping you navigate emotional distress, manage symptoms, and embrace the changes that come with aging. Through psychoeducation, coping strategies, and a safe space for self-reflection, you can gain the tools to move through this transition with confidence and well-being.
Sessions will last for 1hr, usually taking place on a weekly or fortnightly basis and cost £55 per session.
Please also note that if you want to cancel an appointment I require 48 hours’ notice; otherwise you will still need to pay for any sessions missed. I accept payment by bank transfer.
I provide a supportive and flexible approach to therapy, offering online
sessions via Zoom as well as ‘walk & talk’ therapy in and around the Ilkley and Skipton area, depending on location.
Whether you prefer the convenience of virtual sessions or the calming benefits of outdoor therapy, I am here to support you every step of the way. Get in touch to find out more about how we can work together.
